From teaching writing classes to hosting poetry readings, Moonlark has had a long history of involvment in the literary scene of the Feliciana and Baton Rouge areas. Ray Sibley, Moonlark’s Artistic Director founded the Baton Rouge Poetry Slam in 1998, and Moonlark ran the Slam for many years, before turning it over to the Poetry Alliance.<\/p>\n
